Made from supreme old tree material, this is an affordable, high quality raw puer from a village in the Yiwu region. It features a unique fragrance at the forefront, buoyed by a gentle vegetal flavour and noticeable energy. The first few steeps come out with a rich aroma and clean sweetness underlined by just a touch of bitterness, followed by a lingering sugary aftertaste. The aroma lingers wonderfully in the throat. After about seven or eight steeps, the taste becomes more tender and mild, and starts to show a light, mellow orchid fragrance.
 
This tea exhibits strong fundamentals in terms of what a good, solid Yiwu raw puer should be, thus we strongly recommend it for those who are new to puerh and exploring the differences between regions in Yunnan. With that said, this tea can still be thoroughly enjoyed by drinkers of any level.
