This Volcanic Ash Faircup is fully handmade by a small studio named "Six Clays" as they make pottery with 6 different of clays only. These gaiwans are made of natural & good quality black clay and is woodfired and 1260 degree Celsius for 48-56 hours.
This faircups features the dark black volcanic ash covering the burnt white ash inside . It makes a great set with our Crater Lake Shiboridashi & Ice Rock Teacups
As these pieces are all handmade, each may vary slightly in terms of pattern, size and dimensions.
