This Sakura Blossom Lacquerware Plate are fully handmade in Japan. This style of ceremics is namded Mountain lacquerware (山中漆器). This is created with the technique of lacquer painting (泥金畫). It is consisted of sprinkling gold powder, silver powder, and draw on the pieces when the dark black resin is not dry. High quality of porcelain & resin are used in the making. It is very solid in hand and beautiful under light.
