Oolong Tea
Huangjin Gui (黃金桂) is a premium variety of Chinese oolong tea traditionally from Anxi in Fujian province. Named after the yellow golden color of its budding leaves and its unique flowery aroma, it is said to be reminiscent of Osmanthus. This oolong is similar to Tieguanyin, with only a little oxidation. Consequently, it has a very flowery, delicate aroma.
This Golden Cassia displays a very strong mix of nectar like ginger flower & osmasnthus flavor. Once poured, the room is filled with elegant floral aroma, the floral note just burst out in the mouth and linger long afterwards. If our Spring Premium Anxi Tieguanyin is an elegant snow-white, this golden cassia would be a hot brazilian dancer. This tea also has an intriguingly complex with the floral note and deep minerality behind all that luscious dessert-like goodness.
