This Tieguanyin is overgrown with wildflowers, and fed by naturally sweet and clear mountain spring water in Anxi. Wild flowers grow freely among natural flora and established tea hedges. The constant flowering works double duty – attracting insects away from the growing tea leaves while infusing the growing plants with their complex aroma.
The natural complexity of this tea brings out the rich milky, intense orchid floral aroma, lingering pervasive aftertaste, and creamy texture. In very late steeping, the floral notes shift towards tropical plantains and mango. This limited harvest is ideal for a stunning brew.
