Autumn High Mountain Anxi Tieguanyin - Green Rain
This Tieguanyin is grown in the same mountain as our Spring Premium Anxi Tieguanyin - Goddess of Mercy but almost twice the altitude ( 1800m) A place where the mist and sea of cloud found. The humid, low temperature and the mineral rich soil give the perfect environment for growth of the Tea Gem.
This fall harvest comes with a similar delightful orchid floral and light nutty notes but gives a chilling sensation upon sipping which is the signature of high mountain tea. It also gives a richer mineral note and stronger bittersweetness.
Usually Autumn harvest carries a stronger flavour with compensation of the smooth texture when comparing with Spring harvest. However, this tea has the advantages of both seasonal harvests. Its rich texture and the elegant fragrance are like the Green Rain from the Heaven.
