Fox Tail Teacups (Sesshōseki)
These Fox Tail Teacups are fully handmade and wood fired by studio Canvas in Jingdezhen. They are made of jade clay with a colorful glaze resembling the beautiful fox tail of the mysterious Nine Tailed Fox. The cup itself resembles the Sesshoseki which is the spiritual stone which the Nine Tailed Fox used to resurrect itself.
As these pieces are all handmade, each may vary slightly in terms of pattern, size and dimensions. Each fair cup holds a volumn approximately 90ml. It makes a perfect pair with our Fox Tail Gaiwan
