Ancient Lion Dance Gaiwan

 

The Ancient Lion Dance Gaiwan is used for brewing and drinking tea. It is made of jade clay, a type of clay known for its durability and heat retention properties. The Gaiwan is hand-painted with a design depicting an ancient lion dance, which is a traditional Chinese performance often seen during festive occasions and celebrations.

 

The term "Qinghua" refers to the technique of painting using underglaze blue in Chinese ceramics. It is a traditional style that originated in the Ming Dynasty and is characterized by intricate blue designs on a white background. The Ancient Lion Dance Gaiwan may feature Qinghua decoration, showcasing delicate blue patterns on the surface of the gaiwan.

 

Each pieces is fully handmade, there will be slight variation in terms of glaze pattern, painting detail, shape & size
