Made in Jingdezhen, China. This gaiwan set is made of traditional white ceramic. It's great for all different types of tea, such as Oolong, black, green, white tea, and sometimes flower buds tea. Different from some of the teapots that we carry, white ceramic gaiwan doesn't keep any flavor from your tea. It's the best to keep all the original fragrance from your tea.
 
The design of the edge makes it easy to hold, and your fingers won't get burned from the heat. This gaiwan set is not creamy or off-white looking. Instead, it's a little blue and greenish under the sunlight.
This Gaiwan set comes with three parts: a gaiwan, a gaiwan coaster, and two teacups.
