This ripe is made of Large Red Mandarin and each stuffed mandarin puerh weight 25g !
To make this rare artisan Pu-erh, a small circle is carefully carved in the roof of a tangerine fruit. The meat is then removed, leaving only the peel behind. The raw pu’erh tea is delicately placed into the whole tangerine peel and closed using the small circle of peel that was previously removed.
This allows the natural citrus oils to infuse into the Pu erh tea, leaving a wonderfully rich and earthy flavour with fragrant and citrussy notes of tangerine.The fresh tangerine fruit aroma and the mellow aroma of Yunnan pu 'er have formed a unique taste and flavor.
When comparing with our 2008 Spring Ripe Puerh Stuffed Mandarin which is stronger in madarin flavor, this 2000 Premium Stuff Mandarin Ripe Puerh are literally creating a very well balance and harmony between the fruitiness and the richness from the ripe puerh. The strong citrus note of the mandarin has transformed into a more mature bittersweet (light) and a delightful herbal note. Together with the 2000 Imperial Grade Ripe Puerh , it can be steeped for at least 10 -12 times giving a very consistent flavor.
