Description
1988 Ancient Arbor Lao Cha Tao Ripe Puerh Brick - Aged Tea Head
This tea brick is made of top quality spring leaves from ancient arbor in 1988 , Menghai Yunnan (when I was born). The leaves were well stored , aged naturally in bamboo basket. It was then processed and pressed into these bricks.
We are lucky to get 5 pieces only. Each set comes in 2 pieces of 250g. After 33 years of aging , we are curious how time crafted it. The first steep is unsatisfactory, a light dusty and very strong old leaves note. However, the second steeps onwards show how beautifully it aged. A variation of the delightful camphor note from the ancient arbor along steeps together with the woody, light nutty flavor and sweetness. It's flavor is not overwhelming but like a symphony with climax and surprises.
