This cake is created with tea leaf from Bing Tao area. The tea leaves used is of Imperial grade from aged arbor in the untouched area in Bing Tao which is the top grade for ripe puerh.
It is very thick as the golden buds in the cake suggest. The nuttiness of the imperial grade ripe puerh is rich and blends well with the light bitterness and the rich mineral note. It gives a beautiful dark crimson tea color which resembles red wine.
