This Ripe Puerh is a big cake , weight of 500g tea cake and is made of Grade B tea leaves Menghai Yunnan. This cake was pressed in 1997 to commemorate the handover of Hong Kong to China.
The ripe puerh is stored and aged in Yunnan. The dry envirnoment gives a slow aging process without any hint of those unpleasant mouldy taste. It is comprised of a about 75 % of tea leaves and 25 % of bud. This gives a more woody and light nutty note, low to medium bittersweetness. The overall sensation is very comfortable and not overwhelming. This makes it a very good daily old tea to go.
