This Tea Pillar comes from Ban Zhang region and weighs 700g which can serve ~90tea sessions (~720steeps).
This Ripe Puerh is made of wild gushu tea leaves in 1989 in Ban Zhang Village. This leaves are picked from Gusgu of 100-120 years. The Grade of the tea leaves is "A-" (The highest is A +).
The fragance, honey sweet taste and the charming aftertaste are similar to other high quality Menghai teacakes but without any hint of those unpleasant mouldy taste. This ripe puerh give a strong camphor blending with nutty and malty sweetness. The bittersweet comes after swallowing give a extra kick at throat. The large tea leaves offer a strong cha qi , rich flavour and can serve up to 10 steeps. Would love to try it again after it ages for a few more years!!
