The cake is made of top grade leaves (1 bud : 2 leaves) from wild bush in Fuding. It is rare to find white tea cake more than 10 year, but this 14 year old cake is well reserved by our entrusted farmer in Fuding.
Usually an aged Gong Mei would carries chinese medicinal flavour. However, this one is to our surprise very sweet , clear & smooth. The dry leaves are not very fragrant but the tea are very rich in mineral flavour and sweet as sugar cane juice. When compare with our 2014 Rooster Year Premium Aged White Tea (Shou Mei) Cake, this one is richer in mineral but somehow a bit like 8-9 years old raw puerh.
