This cake is created with tea leaf from Lao Man E area. Anyone who has drunk Lao Man'e tea knows that the bitterness of Lao Man'e is really unmatched by other mountain teas. However, the bitterness good quality Lao Man E puerh would subside quickly and turns into sweetness.
This 2007 Lao Man E is of course strong in bitterness. People like extreme bitternes would fall in ove with it. On the other side, the more bitter it is the greater the bittersweetness it comes back. We enjoyed a lot when doing the trial test for this puerh. The bitterness did not emerge instantly but after a while it burst out like a caged beast. It is better served in small quantity to truely savour its true beauty.
