2018 Ban Zhang Master Du Raw Puerh - 5 Generation Ban Zhang
This cake is crafted by Master Du Qiongzhi who is running a small tea farm back in Rural Ban Zhang Area. Master Du family has been making puerh tea for over 150 years, for 5 generations.
This tea cake is created with the raw leaves harvested in 2018 at the back of their Mountain. As a ban zhang puerh cake, we are overwhelmed. We reckon it is more than just a ban zhang but as a lao ban zhang. It has a very strong bittersweetness and great Cha Qi. We almost got tea drunk with it. After each swallow , the tea gives a back kick in the mouth which you will savour for long.
This cake is still young, after aging for another decade, we are sure it will be a precious tea jewel. This cake is highly recommended for expereinced tea drinker and for collection.
