This cake is crafted by a small tea farm back in Rural Yiwu Area called Cheong Tai Tea Factory. They harvest tea leaf from a small mountain which is owned by their family. They has been making puerh tea for over 100 years with Aged Wild Arbor of over 150 years old.
This tea cake is created with the raw leaves harvested in 2007 at the back of their Mountain. It has a very well balance between bittersweetness and the umami as a signature of Yiwu puerh tea. After each swallow , the tea gives a back kick in the mouth which you will savour for long. Light woody, great umami and ends with medium bittersweetness.
This cake is still young, after aging for another decade, we are sure it will be a precious tea jewel. This cake is highly recommended for expereinced tea drinker and for collection.
