Description
2014 - 90 year Old Tree Lao Ban Zhang - Silver Coin
This “Lao Ban Zhang Teacake” is made in 2014 and made with good balance between buds & leaves. This result in a sugary sweet & light peach & pear fruity note with mild astringency.
This cakes has just entered it mid age as a raw Puerh. It is surprisingly smooth and hint of fruity flavour. The bitterness surge up quick and does not last long, left with a mellow and nutty flavour on palate. You throat is as if coated with a bittersweet sugar. Usually we would describe LBZ as a musculine tea with great bitternsweetness, but for this LBZ we would describe it as Effeminate. Having a strong cha qi and as the same time display the feminie side (good complexity and sugary sweetness). It make a big contrast with our 2014 Craftedleaf Handmade Ban Zhang Ancient Raw Puerh which shows a great bittersweetness and smokiness.
