2015 Old Tree Xi Gui Raw Puerh
This compressed tea cake is made from purely top quality leaves hand picked from altitude 1800m in Xi Gua Mountian , Yunnan in early spring 2015. Only leaves fromTree up to 100 years old are used to this cake. The supreme environment creating this finest quality tea leaf which the attribute goes to the hard work of the humble farmers and the effort in preservation.
This cake is still young yet displaying very strong cha qi of Xi Gua Puerhs at the same time a well balance mix of fruity and bittersweetness especially in the 2 to 4 th steeps. It is very rich in thickness as if we are drinking soup instead. Very soothing to throat and the after taste lingers long. The bitterness turn the sweetness once you swallow the tea. This cake needs short steeping time in the beginning. Over brewing will make the tea too bitter for some new drinkers. It can go very stable for at least 8 steeps. Overall, we are very satified with its quality and joy it brings us.
