2015 Competition Grade Wild Arbor Ban Zhang Raw Puerh - Ban King
This Gushu Raw Puerh is made with premium leaves (Grade A) picked in 2015 in Ban Zhang Village and let the leaves aged for 3 years. It was then compressed into teacake in 2018. It was supposed to aged for another 10 years before it takes part in the Yunnan Tea competition but we are lucky enough to get some from the farmer.
After drinking it once, it has always been in the individual's mind. The tea has a unique personality and is unforgettable! This tea displays a very very strong Qi , especially at the 5 th steeping. We almost got a tea drunk drinking it with a empty stomach. It has a very rich Ban Zhang signature note blending with the fruity fragrance and mineral notes at a very good balance. A very thick tea soup with will stick to the cup even leave the empty cup up side down.
