This Aged Arbor Raw Puerh - Bristlecone Pine is made with premium leaves (Grade AAA) picked in 2015 in Brown Mountain from ~280 years Old Aged Arbor. It is the raw puerh cake coming from the Oldest Tree in our collection.
We are lucky to convince the tea farm boss to give us this cake. He intended to keep the last tongs for himself but agreed to give us 4 cakes from the last tongs. We have decided to keep 1 cake for ourselves and share the remaining 3 cakes with tea friends.
This cakes is from Yiwu Mountain area and it is less bitter than Lao Ban Zhang and with a very delightful sugar sweetness. Coming from the 280 years old aged arbor, it gives a good and strong burst of mineral note when sipped. Not overwhelming but very soothing when swallow. A very balanced raw puerh cake and it is worthwhile for a long term collection.
