2014 Brown Mount. Zijuan Raw Puerh - Purple Cuckoo
This raw puerh comes in 200 g cake form. The leaves are picked from aged arbor tree aged around 30-40 years old. It is cultivated from the traditional Yunnan Pu-erh, but a mutated species with unique bright 'purple leaves'.
It has aged for about a decade which tranformed its bitterness in a sweet and light floral note and followed by a refreshing Huigan (bittersweet). It is also more potent in its health benefits especially beneficial as a strong anti-oxident. It can go well for 6-7 steepings.
